ABOUT US
Parker Marine Services was founded by Jonathan Parker who has spent over 17 years attending engine breakdowns and thousands of hours handling boats.
Over the last decade Jonathan has worked at a marine breakdown company on the south coast of England and has repaired or towed over 3000 boats at sea and on land, both motor and sail. Jonathan has also spent many years teaching the RYA Diesel Engine Course. He has seen first hand the reasons why breakdowns and accidents occur and founded Parker Marine Services to pass on his knowledge and help fellow boaters have peace of mind afloat.
Jonathan has featured on the BBC's 'Sea City' series (series 1 episode 2 and 11:40 into the programme) as well as advised and is featured, with his wife Rebecca, in the recent book written by Duncan Wells titled 'Stress Free Motorboating'. He has also recently featured (03/2018) in the RYA Careers week promotion in when he was working as an emergency marine breakdown engineer.
