A truly memorable day onboard cruising around the IOW with Jonathan and Rebecca as our captain and hosts. They were incredibly warm and welcoming and made us feel very relaxed and special. The boat was beautiful and we had a fantastic day despite the weather.
We loved it so much we are looking forward to rebooking again soon.

As a family we decided to have a fun day out on the Isle of White but not wishing to use the Ferry or drive, so I did some hunting around the internet for a boat charter from the Hamble river and happen upon Parker Marine services Ltd based in Warsash, So I called them and spoke to Rebecca and I explained what we required for the day and Rebecca was happy, very knowledgeable and helpful and could accommodate our requirements, so I booked the trip.
On the day we were greeted at the boat yard entrance by the boat captain for the day Jonathan, who was dressed very smartly all in white and he guided us to the Free parking in the boat yard and showed us the facilities before a short walk to the boat where Rebecca was waiting smartly dressed and happy to greet us and help us aboard.
Once onboard we had a short safety briefing and were all given new life jackets to wear which was mandatory. we were then offered drinks and the boat started and we headed off slowly up the Hamble river to the Solent where we picked up speed, the crossing was smooth and uneventful and luckily, we had picked a hot sunny day for the trip. After some of the sea facing sights along the Isle of White coast we all got to Yarmouth happy and refreshed in about an hour or so after leaving Warsash.
The boat then docked, and Jonathan walked us the harbour office and said come back to the boat where you’re ready as there was no hurry which was nice not to have a return time forced on us. I had in fact booked a Restaurant for lunch called Salty’s and WOW!! that was a great lunch!! we get back to the boat around 4pm ready for the trip back again drinks on board and a pleasant and informative journey back to Warsash chatting Jonathan.
Everyone in the family had a great day out and we would highly recommend PARKER MARINE SERVICES LTD if you were thinking of such an adventure as let’s face it it beats the boring ferry every time.
